ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully completed the fifth and final phase of its Food Security Support Project 2025–26 in Pakistan, benefitting 195,487 individuals in 31 districts, the Saudi charity said on Sunday.

Saudi Arabia has been one of Pakistan’s largest humanitarian partners, with KSrelief contributing to flood recovery, health, education and livelihood programs across the South Asian nation.

As part of the final phase, KSrelief distributed food packages, each weighing 97 kilograms and comprising flour, cooking oil, sugar, pulses and dates, to provide critical nutritional support to beneficiary households.

“Food assistance was delivered across multiple regions, covering a total of 31 districts, including 10 districts in Punjab, 5 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7 in Balochistan, 6 in Sindh, and 3 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” the Saudi charity said.

“The project aimed to ensure the timely provision of essential food supplies to the most deserving and food-insecure households.”

The Food Security Support Project 2025–26 was launched as part of KSrelief’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, reflecting its commitment to strengthening food security in Pakistan and delivering timely humanitarian assistance to those most in need.

“It also underscores the Center’s broader global mission to alleviate human suffering and promote sustainable development in vulnerable communities worldwide,” KSrelief said.
