JEDDAH: The “Zarabi" exhibition at the House of Islamic Arts in Jeddah Park features works inspired by the visual and spiritual aspects of Hajj.
The exhibition, which runs until May 13, brings together traditional craftsmanship, contemporary art, and Arabic calligraphy.
It includes artworks inspired by mosque rugs and carpets, as well as local materials such as palm fronds used in traditional weaving, reflecting themes of worship, hospitality, and daily life.
The exhibition also presents modern calligraphic works based on Arabic letters and Kufic-inspired geometric and abstract designs.
It is part of a cultural series aimed at highlighting Islamic heritage and reinterpreting traditional arts through contemporary approaches.
