Saudi FM, EU’s foreign affairs chief hold call to discuss regional developments

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Friday spoke on the phone with Kaja Kallas, the EU’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy and vice-president of the European Commission.

During the call, they discussed regional developments and ongoing efforts to address them, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The call with Kallas follows a meeting in Riyadh between Prince Faisal and his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot on Thursday.

During their meeting, they reviewed relations between their countries and ways to enhance them, and discussed regional and international developments and their implications for security and stability.
