RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief’s latest humanitarian operations have involved delivering food to tens of thousands of people in three countries amid ongoing crises.
KSrelief’s kitchen provided 25,000 hot meals across central and southern Gaza, benefiting thousands of vulnerable families. The agency also distributed 3,716 food baskets in Khan Younis, benefiting 22,296 Palestinians affected by the conflict.
In Mali, KSrelief delivered 600 food baskets to needy families and people with special needs in the Gao region, benefiting 3,600 individuals as part of a food security program.
The agency also distributed 936 food baskets in Afghanistan to returnees from neighboring countries, displaced families, and orphans, benefiting 5,616 individuals.
Since its establishment in 2015, KSrelief, in partnership with nearly 349 organizations, has implemented more than 4,260 projects in 113 countries, with a total value exceeding $8.4 billion.
These programs cover food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, camp coordination, education, protection, and emergency relief.
