Saudi foreign minister receives phone call from Iranian counterpart

RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, received a telephone call on Monday from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi.

Prince Faisal expressed the Kingdom’s welcome for the agreement reached between Iran and the United States to end military operations and begin detailed negotiations with the aim of reaching a permanent agreement, as well as the Kingdom’s aspiration to achieve peace that enhances the security of the region and the world.

Prince Faisal reviewed the latest regional developments and stressed the importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve permanent and sustainable stability in the region.
