Governor tours Taif’s historic sites

TAIF: Taif Gov. Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz recently toured the governorate’s historic district, looking at landmarks and cultural sites that reflect the city’s deep historic and civilizational legacy.

He visited several historic houses, artisan shops, productive family sites, the old market, and honey stores. He observed products on display that reflected the governorate’s cultural identity.

Prince Fawaz was briefed on services provided to visitors and on development and restoration projects of historic buildings. These works have helped preserve the area’s architectural character and enhance its appeal.

He stressed the importance of preserving historic sites and continuing efforts to develop and invest in their cultural and tourism value.
