Where We Are Going Today: Jazeera Shakir’s shawarma in Jeddah

  • The service remains reliable, just as many customers remember from the old branch in Al-Balad

Since I first tried Jazeera Shakir’s shawarma and juices late last year, its Prince Saud Al-Faisal branch in Al-Faisaliah has quickly become one of my favorite places in Jeddah, and a regular source of dinner.

The branch is clean and well organized, which immediately leaves a good impression. The beef shawarma stands out compared to other brands offering similar options. The taste is consistent and it brings back childhood memories, especially with the fresh samouli bread, which gives it a traditional feel.

It’s always my first choice. The meat is fresh, tender and well-seasoned. With garlic sauce, and a little chili and tahini, the flavors come together perfectly. This combination is the main reason I keep coming back.

The service remains reliable, just as many customers remember from the old branch in Al-Balad. Although the restaurant has rebranded, with a new logo and updated look, it has kept the same quality and original taste it has been known for in Jeddah for more than 40 years.

There is a dining area for those who prefer to sit and eat. The service is quick and convenient, especially during family visits.

Another positive point is the focus on fresh juices instead of soft drinks, with prices that are still affordable.

Overall, this is a traditional Saudi shawarma brand that has modernized while keeping its true flavor. Jazeera Shakir is highly recommended.
