DUBAI: The Tribeca Film Festival 2026 has unveiled part of its feature film lineup with “Only What We Carry,” led by Sofia Boutella, among the titles set to premiere.

Marking its 25th anniversary, the festival is scheduled to run from June 3 to 14 in New York City.

This year’s program will present 118 feature films spanning a wide range of genres and international talent. Notable selections include “The Last Day,” starring Alicia Vikander and Wagner Moura; “Rain Reign,” featuring Paul Rudd and Jeremy Sisto; and “Clean Hands,” led by Zach Braff. Ensemble casts also feature prominently, with Vera Farmiga, Tim Blake Nelson, Jim Parsons and Simon Rex appearing in “The Leader,” while “The Revisionist” brings together Alison Brie, Andre Holland, Tom Sturridge and Dustin Hoffman. Holland also stars in “They Fight” alongside Wendell Pierce and Samira Wiley, while Marc Maron leads “In Memoriam.”

“Only What We Carry” features an ensemble that includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lizzy McAlpine, Simon Pegg and Quentin Tarantino alongside Boutella.

“Long-buried secrets and emerging romances bubble up and boil over between a dancer, her sister, her former choreographer, and his visiting friend in this improvisational drama shot in six days on the Normandy coast,” the logline of “Only What We Carry” reads.

In the film, Boutella portrays Charlotte Levant, a celebrated performer at the Moulin Rouge whose outward success masks growing emotional instability. She returns to Deauville with her sister Josephine, played by Gainsbourg, where the pair navigate shifting dynamics shaped by new and existing relationships. Their interactions with a wealthy patron, played by Tarantino, as well as a young couple portrayed by McAlpine and Liam Hellmann, begin to test and transform their bond.

Helmed by Welsh writer and director Jamie Adams, the project was filmed over just six days, with much of the dialogue developed through improvisation.

The screening comes after “Dreamquil,” which also stars Boutella, had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Festival in Texas in March.

“Set in the near future, a woman returning from a virtual retreat discovers her worst nightmare when the helper robot sent to assist her family in her absence starts to infringe on her life and identity,” the film’s logline reads.
