  • A Palestinian was injured on Saturday in an attack by Israeli settlers on the village of Ein Sinya, north of Ramallah, according to the sources

HEBRON: A young Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday morning in Khirbet Salama, west of Dura, southwest of Hebron.
Security and local sources said that Israeli forces shot and killed 25-year-old Mohammed Ahmad Abu Ghaliyeh Al-Suwaiti in Khirbet Salama, claiming he was attempting to approach the settlement of Negohot, built on Palestinian land and property southwest of Hebron. He died at the scene.
Sources said he was pronounced dead at the scene, and Israeli forces withheld his body following the shooting.
Khirbet Salama is located west of Dura in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. 
It is one of the villages occupied by Israel during the 1967 war.
Also on Saturday, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian youth from the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
Palestinian security sources said that Israeli forces detained Khader Ibrahim Abu Salameh after severely beating him at the entrance to the village before taking him into custody.

The sources said that a group of settlers attacked several homes in the village by throwing stones and assaulting residents, resulting in the injury of a young man who was transferred to a hospital for treatment. 
The village of Ein Sinya has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli settlers, including raids around homes and assaults on residents.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli soldiers and settlers carried out 1,819 attacks during March, reflecting a continued pattern of systematic violence against the Palestinian people, their land, and property.
The commission said Israeli forces carried out 1,322 of these attacks, while setters carried out 497.

The incidents were concentrated mainly in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, and Al-Bireh, and Jerusalem.
