An Italian eatery has been added to the mix among The Noon United Avenue of five restaurants and cafes in the heart of Jeddah.
Il Cortile, launched on June 1, aims to offer both a casual and fine-dining experience with a pianist setting the mood on its upper floor, and downstairs a selected music playlist helping to recreate the vibe of Italy. There is even an indoor vertical garden.
As well as a pasta station, the restaurant uses an authentic Stefano Ferrara Forni wood-fired brick oven to cook Neapolitan pizzas.
The new restaurant forms part of an existing chain of four other outlets that consists of a shisha cafe, Indian diner, an eatery offering Levantine cuisine, and a breakfast and brunch establishment.
