KSRelief continues food, health projects in Yemen

MUKALLA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center inaugurated a project to distribute 120 tons of dates in Yemen.

In the project, 625,000 cartons of dates will be distributed to hundreds of thousands of displaced families in need in 13 Yemeni governorates.

The center also continued distributing emergency food aid in Aden governorate, as part of the food security project which aims to provide aid to 1,500 families that have lost their breadwinners. KSrelief provides basic foodstuffs which fulfill the needs of the displaced families in the target districts.

KSrelief distributed more than 43 tons of food baskets to the neediest families in the Shabwa governorate, benefitting 7,236 individuals.

KSrelief’s prosthetic limbs and physical rehabilitation center in Aden governorate has provided 1,919 services for 381 beneficiaries in one month. The services included the manufacturing, fitting and maintenance of prosthetic limbs for hundreds of patients, covering their delivery, measurement and maintenance. The center also provided other treatments to patients, including physical therapy and consultations.
