Prince Saud bin Nayef, governor of the Eastern Province, honored leading petrochemical and chemical manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia — Sipchem — for its sponsorship of a charity campaign involving the renovation of underprivileged homes. The ceremony took place on Tuesday at the office of the governor.
Sipchem’s diamond sponsorship of the Tarmeem Charity campaign highlights the company’s commitment to improving the lives of needy families and ensuring a decent standard of living for them by maintaining and renovating their homes in the region.
At the end of the ceremony, Abdullah bin Saif Al-Saadoon, CEO of Sipchem, received an honorary shield in recognition of Sipchem’s sponsorship of the home renovation campaign.
Al-Saadoon thanked the governor of the Eastern Province for his continuous support and care for all sectors in the region, helping them achieve their goals in community service. The CEO emphasized the importance of sustainable partnership and its role in developing the sectors entrusted with community service, pointing out that social responsibility is the main pillar that Sipchem seeks to support, through its contribution to several programs targeting the community. He also highlighted Sipchem’s pioneering role in the sustainability field, while stressing on the continued commitment to achieving sustainability principles on all environmental, social and economic levels.
Through its participation in this project, Sipchem targeted the restoration of four houses in Alkhobar and its suburbs, fully renovating them, making them more comfortable and improving their condition.
Sipchem implements social responsibility programs by allocating 1 percent of its net profits to support CSR projects, and focusing on groups that need support and assistance, in accordance with clear procedures and standards.
