DUBAI: The UAE on Monday recorded 932 new COVID-19 cases, a slight drop after five straight days where the number had topped the 1,000 mark.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said the total number of cases since the pandemic began has reached 99,733.
Three new deaths were confirmed, raising the death toll to 429.
The ministry also said 1,287 cases recovered from COVID-19 over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to 80,410.
During its daily inspections, Dubai Economy said it issued fines to four businesses and gave warnings to two shops for not adhering to anti-COVID-19 measures.
Meanwhile, Dubai Safari Park announced that it will start welcoming visitors from Oct. 5 but with coronavirus measures in place.
Elsewhere, Kuwait recorded 567 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 107,592, while the death toll stood at 628 after four new deaths were registered.
