Prince Hussam bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz, governor of Al-Baha region, discussed health projects and services in the region and its provinces with the minister of health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, in Riyadh on Sunday.
The meeting tackled a number of issues related to health services, major health projects that are being implemented in the region and necessary solutions for distressed projects in Al-Baha and its provinces.
Prince Hussam stressed the importance of the health services for citizens in light of the special care that the health sector gets from the government, noting the keenness of Al-Baha region and its full cooperation with governmental departments to achieve the excellence that everybody looks for.
The minister of health gave Prince Hussam a certificate of accreditation from the World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledging Al-Mandaq, the second largest city in the region, as a “Global Health City.”
For his part, Al-Rabiah praised the keenness of Prince Hussam and his guidance in elevating health services in the regions to the highest levels.
