DUBAI: The UAE has confirmed 179 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours after conducting 58,953 additional tests, state news agency WAM reported.
The total number of people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 stands at 62,704, the official spokesman for the UAE Government Omar Al-Hammadi reported.
Al-Hammadi also said 198 patients were declared free from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 56,766, while no deaths were recorded.
