JEDDAH: The Saudi Ministry of Health is continuing to provide coronavirus disease (COVID-19) treatment for all residents of the Kingdom through the newly established Tatamman clinics.
The facilities, identified as “fever clinics,” operate around the clock and are tasked with receiving anyone who suspects infection or who is experiencing symptoms.
Saudi Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah announced on March 30 King Salman’s orders to provide free treatment to patients with COVID-19 in all government and private health facilities in the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia recorded 36 new COVID-19-related deaths on Friday, raising the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the Kingdom to 893.
There were 3,921 new cases reported, meaning 119,942 people have now contracted the virus. There are 38,020 active cases, 1,820 of them are in critical conditions.
According to the health ministry, 1,584 of the newly reported cases were in Riyadh, while Jeddah recorded 285 and Makkah 99. Saudi Arabia has so far conducted 1,069,636 tests for COVID-19.
The ministry also announced that 1,010 more patients had recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 81,029.
