More than 108,000 workers have been tested for coronavirus and their living conditions inspected by the Labor Housing Committee in Jeddah, state news agency SPA reported.
A total of 591 buildings were checked to verify compliance with the precautionary measures, the committee said.
The committee also provided isolation rooms for those who are suspected of being infected with COVID-19.
Saudi Arabia reported 1,931 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 76,726, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.
