Saudi Arabia appoints new envoy to Bahrain

RIYADH: Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz has taken the oath to become Saudi Arabia’s ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The prince took the oath before King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Prince Sultan vowed, during the ceremony, to be faithful to his religion, monarch and country, in addition to keeping the state’s secrets, maintaining its interests and regulations, and carrying out duties bestowed upon him.
The ceremony was attended by Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, minister of state and member of the Cabinet, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, minister of interior, Minister of State and Cabinet member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz Al-Assaf.
