RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the office of the Islamic adviser of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Thailand, held a ceremony in cooperation with the Nong Chok Mosque Management Committee in Bangkok.
The ceremony was attended by more than 600 preachers, imams, heads of Islamic associations, teachers and their families.
The head of the mosque management committee, Bagday May, thanked King Salman and the crown prince for serving Islam and Muslims.
He also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the follow-up of the minister, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, with the preachers, scholars and imams, which contributed to the promotion of moderation in religious discourse. He hailed the efforts of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bangkok in serving Islamic activities.
Islamic Counselor at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Thailand Dr. Yousef Al-Hammoudi said that Eid was a great opportunity to remember God’s blessings through fasting and good deeds. Joy in exchanging visits deepened the relationship between Muslims, he said.
