Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Salamah is the general director at Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies.
He is also the general supervisor for financial and administrative affairs at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, specializing in the comprehensive management of the major industrial cities, and general supervisor of colleges and institutes at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
He got his bachelor’s degree in business administration from King Saud University in Riyadh in 1985, and his master’s degree in economics from Western Illinois University in 1990. He received a doctorate in economics from Durham University in 1994.
The diplomatic studies institute, in cooperation with the Emirates Diplomatic Academy, recently held a workshop on modern trends in diplomatic training.
The Riyadh-based event was organized as part of the responsibilities of foreign affairs ministries in the Kingdom and the UAE to improve and advance diplomatic practices.
It was aimed at providing diplomats with the required knowledge and refining their skills for their field.
It was attended by Al-Salamah as well as the undersecretary for political and economic affairs at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Dr. Adel Merdad.
The workshop was also attended by Egyptian, Jordanian and South Korean officials.
