JEDDAH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) continues supporting the livestock sector of the neediest families in Syria as well as the agricultural sector. Both are among the most vital sectors in providing food security for most families. The center is also catering to mentally ill people inSyria who lack support.
The team of KSRelief is providing 100 dairy cows for 100 families, with free feeds for two consecutive months, veterinary care and vaccinations for six months. In addition, the Center is raising the technical level of the beneficiaries for the proper care of livestock through technical training from livestock specialists. Vets will periodically check the cows, treat sick ones and provide necessary support in several Syrian governorates.
KSrelief has also established an accommodation and treatment center for mentally ill patients in northern Syria.
The center caters for those who were wandering in the streets without care after their shelters were destroyed in Aleppo and other areas.
The project targets 1,200 direct beneficiaries and 7,200 indirect beneficiaries in the city of Azaz, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and provides protection and a decent life for people with mental illness.
Adequate living conditions, care, safe housing, food and clothing will be provided to the center’s residents, as well as medical services, psychotherapy sessions, medicines, and sporting and recreational activities.
