DUBAI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre launched on Thursday the fifth and sixth phases of the rehabilitation program for children recruited by the Houthi militias and forced into the armed conflict.

The two phases aim to rehabilitate 80 child soldiers from different governorates of Yemen, Saudi press agency SPA reported.

The previous stages carried out by the center targeted the recruits from the governorates of Amran, Al-Jawf, Marib and other governorates, where they were rehabilitated and integrated into society.

The project aims to rehabilitate 2,000 child soldiers.
