DUBAI: Palestinian-American supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid have scored the first ever dual covers of their careers — with none other than British Vogue.
The sisters are the cover stars of the March 2018 issue of the magazine.
Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Joe McKenna, the pair were interviewed by Vogue’s Giles Hattersley who spoke to them during the photo shoot in New York.
“She’s one of the only people I’ll get aggressive for,” Gigi revealed of Bella. “She makes me so proud. I would do anything for her.”
The mode’s stance on her equally-famous other half, Zayn Malik, also came up during the interview.
“I post what I think would be normal to post of your boyfriend,” said Gigi. “The comments are: ‘It’s extra, it’s fake.’ But if I don’t do it enough then it’s: ‘Oh they’re fake, they’re not really together.’ I try to do what feels real to me, and do it with integrity.”
