Al-Rajhi Aviation, Qatar Airways score easy wins

JEDDAH: Al-Rajhi Aviation and Qatar Airways scored comfortable wins over Emirates Airlines and Islamic Development Bank Group in the third round match of the Inter-Institutions cricket tournament sponsored by GBEST and organized by IDB at the bank’s Green Lawn ground here.
Qatar Airways routed IDB by 6 wickets while Al-Rajhi ousted Emirates by 61 runs.
In the first match, Al-Rajhi Aviation scored 148 runs from their stipulated 12 overs. Raziuddin was the highest scorer with 44 runs. He was supported by Zishan Iqbal (38) and Irfan (22). Sufiyan, Obaid and Shahid bagged a wicket each.
In reply, Emirates managed only 88 runs. Sufiyan (31), Sarfraz (25) and Sarfraz junior (15) did their best. Waqas bagged 2 wickets while Rashid, Rameez and Inam got a wicket each.
Man-of-the-Match: Raziuddin.
In the other match, IDB won the toss and put up 116 runs off 12 overs. Mohammed Shoib top-scored with 45 runs. He was supported by Shaharyar’s 20.
Ehsaan bagged 2 wickets. Rupali and Yasir shared 2 wickets.
In reply, Qatar Airways achieved their target after 10.5 overs. Ibad Anas made the IDB bowling look ordinary with some lusty hitting and scored 71 runs, which came of 32 balls. No other batsman was able to cross the double figure mark.
Mirza Irfan Baig got 2 wickets. Shoaib and Abdallah Shah got a wicket each.
