Jubail and Yanbu infrastructure upgrade gets green light

RIYADH: Work will soon start on upgrading infrastructure in residential areas of Jubail Industrial City and in Aziziyah district in Yanbu Industrial City.
Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunyyan, chair of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu recently signed two contracts worth SR 125 million.
The Construction and Road Services Contracting Company will upgrade existing roads and facilities in Jubail’s residential areas, including sewage networks, lighting, gardening, landscaping and maintenance.
The Salco Company will implement utility and off-site works in Aziziyah district and Yanbu.
In the last eight months, the Royal Commission contracted works valued at SR 3.3 billion and include infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, and operational services in Jubail and Yanbu.
