Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman Furniture Trading Co. Ltd., IKEA Saudi Arabia, a major home furnishings company in the region, has introduced an exclusive Ramadan-specific range across all of their stores in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran, in time for the start of the holy month.
IKEA’s Ramadan collection, DOFTRIK, was produced upon particular request by the IKEA Saudi Arabia team, in order to reflect the essence of Ramadan and Eid, with a range that possesses various attributes from Arabesque design and patterns, to color, which echo the true Arabic spirit, satisfying the needs of all consumers throughout the month of Ramadan.
Saud Ghassan Al-Sulaiman, CEO of IKEA Saudi Arabia, said: “We recognize the importance and significance of this time for our customers, and cherish and welcome the month of Ramadan in the same manner as the rest of our community does, not only by keeping our doors open to them, but also by offering them something special within this new DOFTRIK range.”
He added: “Here at IKEA, we are committed to providing our customers with products that suit their styles and needs to cater to our local community with a beautiful range that is specifically dedicated to the two most important events in the Muslim calendar, Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.”
Encompassing the authentic essence of Ramadan, the DOFTRIK range offers customers furniture pieces for all corners of the home, from bowls and trays, to rugs and quilt covers, as well as coffee tables and table cloths. The collection also consists of certain items that are symbolic in the Saudi culture, such as the Arabic coffee cup and lantern.
The DOFTRIK range, which was influenced by the IKEA Saudi Arabia team, is also being sold in stores worldwide, catering to those customers that celebrate Ramadan and Eid abroad.
