Mark Zeitoun is a professor of water security at the School of International Development, and Water Security Research Center, University of East Anglia and adjunct professor at McGill University. His research into water and war stems from a professional career as a humanitarian-aid water engineer, and adviser on water security policy and transboundary water negotiations throughout the Middle East and Africa.
