A seven-day art exhibition of the work of Hisham Al-Ayesh and 17 other Syrian artists opened at Alamia Gallery on Tuesday.
Taha M.S. Saban, Saudi artist and businessman, inaugurated the exhibition. He said he appreciated the efforts of Al-Ayesh in organizing the exhibition.
“Art is a form of explanation as it is a language of feelings and ideas. This exhibition shows the diverse art works of 18 Syrian artists, which makes it different,” said Saban. The art exhibition is just like a garden full of flowers of different types and colors; every time something comes in the artist’s mind, it shows in their work, he added. Saban further said the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Jeddah to enjoy the colors of Syria.
A number of dignitaries and diplomats visited the exhibition and expressed admiration for the artwork.
