Shaan, Afroz, Ashfaq shine in Ace Travel Premier League

ICC, Tamer recorded impressive wins over Deccan Knights and Natco by 10 and 38 runs respectively during the third week of the Premier League Cricket sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association.
In another match of the same division, Jawar Al Jazirah thrashed JPCC by 8 wickets.
ICC batted first and scored 189 for 6. Raheel 50, Imran Chaudhary 53 and Atta Ur Rahman 31 were the scorers. Athar (3 for 27), Karam Ali (2 for 32) contained the batsmen. In reply Deccan Knights fought well but fell short by 10 runs as they were restricted to 179.
Athar dazzled with the bat and scored 74 runs. Atta (2 for 28), Sadiq (2 for 7) were the main wicket takers.
JPCC batted first and scored 224 for 8. Abid Parvez top-scored with 65 runs followed by Saleem with 24 and Ahsan who got 22. Asim (2 for 29), Shan (2 for 30) bowled well to contain JPCC.
In reply, Jawar Al Jazirah reached their target scoring 227 for the loss of 2 wickets. Shaan Manzoor was the hero of the day as he scored 119 off 49 balls. Sajid (50) and Asim (27) gave him support at the other end. Jazirah won by 8 wickets.
In another match, Tamar beat Natco by 38 runs. Tamar batted first and scored 199 for 6.
Ashfaq (90), Syed Mohd Afroz (48) and Khalid 33 notched up useful contributions. Rana Shahzad had 3 for 32 including a hat trick.
In reply Natco were bundled out for 161 with Shahzad (32), Hasnain (20), Jamshed (22) and Sajid (20) pooling in with their bat. Waseem (2 for 26), Afroz (2 for 30) bowled a tight length to ensure their team victory.
