How to watch movies with ‘Kids in Mind’

As someone who is addicted to movies in general, I imagine taking my kids (future kids) to the cinema sometimes, sounds great! Except it freaks me out. Nowadays so many movies contain profanity, violence, sexual references and things in between that can make the most liberal of us uncomfortable with their kids watching. How to avoid taking your kid to watch a movie with you (or watching one at home) only to be psychologically scarred for life? You have two options, the first is the best and the second is for the brave of us:
1. Watch it ALONE before you do that with your kid
2. Check ‘Kids in Mind’ app
Kids in Mind is an app that attempts to lengthily describe movies and rate them based on three areas of concern for parents: Sex, Nudity, Violence and Gore and Profanity. Each movie you find on ‘Kids in Mind’ has an easy-to-read chart showing the level of intensity for each problematic area. For full disclosure, read the full review and you will know what type of content you are going to watch; which will help you make a better parental decision.
‘Kids in Mind’ is available in iTunes store and on the Web.
