BCEG’s good track record in KSA

Since its launch in 1953, Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG) has always been in the forefront of China’s construction industry. Over the years, it has acquired a competitive edge in the global market. The icing on the cake was its being ranked among the top 250 international contractors, the top 500 enterprises and the top 10 contractors of China.
BCEG is a large group that develops across industries, ownerships, regions and countries. It has total assets of RMB20.9 billion, net assets of RMB3.2 billion and an annual turnover worth over RMB30 billion. Its cumulative value of newly-contracted projects exceeds RMB40 billion.
The group has 78 wholly-owned, holding or participating, stock companies and seven affiliated institutions with a workforce of around 20,000. Of these, over 10,000 are skilled technicians in addition to more than 650 experts with senior professional titles.
The BCEG KSA Branch made its debut in 2010. During this period, it has been awarded four projects, which were implemented by a professional management team comprising engineering staff of about 344 and around 2,000 workers from China, Pakistan, India and the Philippines working at the site.
In line with the Saudi government’s Nitaqat program, the company has deployed Saudi employees comprising over 13 percent of the total work force. For these reasons, the company has earned a green tag for abiding by the Kingdom’s regulations.
