JEDDAH: The Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh on Tuesday found a Saudi man guilty of participating in the burial of those who died in security confrontations, concealing a wanted man and failing to report him to authorities despite knowing that he was wanted by security agencies.
The judge also condemned him for keeping what would prejudice public order and security by possessing videos of demonstrations, and others intended to breach security, in addition to gambling and drinking liquor.
The accused was sentenced to five years in prison, and was banned from traveling outside the Kingdom for a similar period after the end of his sentence, in addition to 80 lashes for using intoxicants.
