RIYADH: A foreign policy magazine in the United States has included Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in its list of 100 most influential leaders and most important thinkers in the world for 2015.
The magazine said, “The young Prince Mohammed bin Salman played an influential role in the region and was able to stop Saudi opponents. He has proved willingness to sacrifice blood and standing against any danger threatening the Kingdom in particular and the region in general.”
A foreign diplomat said, “As Saudi minister of defense, Prince Mohammed bin Salman is the architect in restoring the legitimate government of Yemen as well as in extending assistance to Syrians suffering from the effects of war.”
The magazine said, "Prince Mohammed bin Salman is seen as representing the vast majority of the young generation in the country. He manages transactions in favor of Saudi Arabia with great success.”
Among others on the list are German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstroem.
The magazine’s list is the most important global classification for personal leadership and influential leaders and politicians in the world.
