Sea sports festival launched at Jubail’s Fanateer waterfront

The sea sports festival, entitled ‘Challenge & Fun’, has been kicked off at the Al-Fanateer waterfront in Jubail Industrial City.
The eight-day event has been organized by the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) in coordination with the social services department. It includes over 20 aqua games for all age groups, as well as various competitions.
Visitors can enjoy air, aqua and beach games, along with the aqua village and soapy playground.
The first day of the festival on Thursday witnessed the navy march, including marine tanks, boats and sails, in addition to a fly-board show. A training course in sailing and diving will is also being offered, besides Discover Diving and Kayaking Programs .
The organizing committee of the festival has instituted awards for marine competitions, including fishing diving, fin swimming, longest breath, beach football, volleyball and water polo.
The aim of the event is to promote local tourism in Jubail Industrial City. The commission takes many steps to serve all segments of society within its social responsibility programs.
