Education Ministry boosts entrepreneurship program

The Education Ministry has entered into a strategic agreement with the Saudi Injaz Entrepreneurs Program to help young citizens start their own businesses.
This took place on the sidelines of the program's annual ceremony held in Jeddah on Tuesday to honor the best supervisors, business idea, marketing plan, product, young entrepreneurs and sponsor companies.
Abdullah Rahemi, a member of the program's board, emphasized that the partnership would enhance the economy by helping students identify career opportunities early and build self-confidence. He said the country needs more than doctors and engineers to ensure sustainable development.
He praised Minister of Education Prince Khaled Al-Faisal for supporting and endorsing the agreement. “We need self-grooming and self-development programs for young people to achieve the goal of serving the nation."
He said other stakeholders that would help achieve these goals include the Ministry of Labor, sponsoring companies and volunteers.
