Farruk Saeed’s unbeaten 108 for Falcon and a fine all-round performance by Zubair for Mughal were the highlight of the eight matches played in the Amaq Contracting Company cricket tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League.
In the first match, Falcon beat Samarwa by 8 wickets.
Samarwa batted first and put up 159 for 9 off 20 Overs. Shakeel (52), Kashif (28) and Hameed (22) were the main run getters. Bilawal Haneef and Abdul Majid took 3 wickets each while Sirajuddin got 2 for 29.
In reply Falcon made 163 runs for the loss of 2 wickets off 17.3 overs. Farrukh Saeed scored a fine unbeaten 108. He was well supported by Farhan Khairi (26) and Sirajuddin (22).
Man of the Match: Farrukh Saeed.
In the second match, Mughal scored a thrilling six-run win over Sixer.
Mughal C.C batted first and scored 172 for 9 from their stipulated overs. Shafiq (39), Zahid (29) and Zubair (28) did their best. Adil 4 for 27 runs and Mudasar 3 for 21 were the main wicket takers.
In reply Evergreen C.C. made 166 for 7. Mushtaq (33) and Rizwan (12) were the only two who put up some fight. Zubair 3 for 29 and Waqar Butt 2 for 20 did most of the damage.
Man of the Match: Zubair.
In the third match, NAB got the better of Al Eid by 3 wickets.
Al Eid C.C was put into bat and were bowled out for 137. Fahim Shah (22), Maz (21) and Kashif (20) were the main scorers. Imran bagged 3 for38 while Abbas, Nazir and Jamshed took 2 wickets each.
In reply NAB got the required 138 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Usman (53), Kamran (18) were the top scorers. Irfan 3 for 35 and Asad 2 for 6 runs bowled well.
Man of the Match: Usman for scoring 53 Runs.
In the fourth match, Indian Strikers routed Cyberoam by 171 runs.
Indian Strikers totaled 231for 6. Junais (38), Anees (29) and Noufal (28) did well with the bat. Zeeshan Haider got 3 for 20.
In reply Cyberoam were skittled out for 55 runs off 9.1 overs. Atif Aslam (20), Farhan Rauf (14) put up some resistance. Subair Hassan took 6 for 17 for Indian Strikers.
Man of the Match: Subair.
In the fifth match, Super Green beat National by 43 runs.
Super Green batted first and made 184 for 9 wickets. Thanks to Shafeeq (71), Shahid (50) and Sajid (22). Irfan 3 for 20, Ashraf and Abid took two wickets each for National.
In reply National C.C made 141 for 9 off 18 overs. Salman (28), Khalid (27) and Yasir (24) did most of the scoring. Adnan, Zahoor and Babar Mirza took two wickets each.
Man of the Match: Shafeeq.
In the sixth match, Star XI routed Riyadh Sports Club by 52 runs.
Star Eleven C.C batted first and were all out for 170 runs. Imtiaz (67), Kashif (30) and Manzoor (21) top scored. Yunus 4 for27, Saffor 3 for 30 and Shanawaz 2 for 17 did most of the damage.
In reply Riyadh Sport Club were bowled out for 118. Asif (26) and Kafayat (16) did their best. Imtiaz 3 for 28, Mansoor and Kashif took 3 wickets each.
Man of the Match: Imtiaz.
In the seventh match, Royal Fightes beat Gujranwala by 3 wickets.
Gujranwala C.C were invited to bat first and they put 108 runs for 9 wickets off 18 overs. Umer (26) and Shakeel (18) were the main scorers, Qaisar 2 for 12, Shakir 2 for23 and Asif 2 for 20 were the main wicket takers.
In reply Royal Fighter C.C made 111 for 7 off 13 overs. Mahboob top-scored with 70. Saleem 3 for 22 Runs, Hasan 2 for 25 were on target.
Man of the match Mahboob he made 70 Runs in 30 Balls.
In the last match, GamePro beat Black Caps by 10 wickets.
BlackCaps batted first and scored 137. Sanaulla (39), Kanwar Malik (25), Abid (21) batted well. Imtiyaz, Sirajuddin and Zakariyah Husan from GamePro C.C took two wickets each.
In reply GamePro C.C made 141 for no loss off 9.4 overs. Imran Gavanji scored an unbeaten 70 and Moiezuddin made 54 runs. Man of the Match: Imran Gavanji
