BEIRUT: UAE singer Ahlam Al-Shamsi vowed to sue a number of Kuwaiti twitter users who defamed her.
She appeared in a video recording and announced that she had hired a Kuwaiti lawyer to file a lawsuit against her Twitter critics, reported Albawaba.
In the video recording, Ahlam says threateningly, “I will show you who is Ahlam. I have started taking serious steps.”
Ahlam recently appeared in a show titled ‘The Queen’ but Dubai TV Channel canceled the program after airing its first episode.
She recently caused another controversy after mocking the Lebanese people when she spoke about the piles of rubbish in the streets of Beirut and the popular Falafel dish.
