RIYADH: The local firm Nahdi Medical Company has been doing its share in contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan by fulfilling its responsibility to society.
For this and other humanitarian endeavors, it has been included in the Guinness of World Records, indubitably a signal honor in recognition of its social contributions by holding the record for the most people signing up for medical identification tags in 12 hours in a single venue in Mina on Sept. 13.
For starters, it has spared nothing in using its own resources to help pilgrims — the guests of Allah — as well as in the propagation of health awareness programs in society.
“Nahdi Medical Company is doing a yeoman’s job, to say the least, in making a contribution to society by serving the guests of Allah,” said a pilgrim who performed Haj recently.
He added that its services are a good addition to the various facilities made available by the Saudi leadership to make Haj performance as convenient and as memorable as it could be.
Moreover, the medical company also generously provided its services to more than 10,000 pilgrims at the King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah and at the holy sites of Mina and Arafat.
“The Nahdi Medical Company has certainly carved out a good image and reputation in the hearts of the 10,000 pilgrims it helped,” another pilgrim said.
In addition, its humanitarian endeavors has also rubbed off on other groups or organizations imbued with the desire to help others and make a difference.
“I am sure that other firms who want to cash in by selling their products would also follow the example of Nahdi Medical Company in serving society,” the pilgrim added.
It also rendered medical services, furthermore, to some 4,049 pilgrims in one site, Mina, in only 12 hours as part of its humanitarian as well as Islamic activities on Sept. 13.
Moreover, it has also helped in the Kingdom’s Saudization program by providing jobs to local manpower.
It launched some time back a special campaign providing hundreds of jobs to Saudi youth in various key specialization as part of its strategic direction to become employer of choice in the Kingdom.
