JEDDAH: JDC Veterans of playing coach Ricky Abdulaziz Yu beat R Printing 40’s 91-79 in the in SEIKO– JBL Basketball at the Khalidia court here.
JDC Veterans played hardest in the crucial minutes of the game as R Printing continued to attack the enemy defense.
Calluence top-scored with 25 points for JDC Veterans and was adjudged as the SEIKO Watch best player of the game while Rick Santos had 14 points for R Printing 40’s.

Leylaty defeated Tetra Pak 81-75. Leylaty played offense well in the final quarter. Hugo scored 18 points for Leylaty and was adjudged as the Giordano best player of the game while Laput chipped in 23 points for Tetra Pak.
BHBC beat Lions 98-93. BHBC went to the open man for their final assault as Lions tried hard to contain the enemy offense in the fourth quarter. Gadiana top-scored with 28 points for BHBC and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Bong Umlas led the Lions with 27 points.
Breman Islamic Center of Shiekh Abu Abdurahman defeated JDC Legends 91-75. Breman was unstoppable in their running game as JDC Legends lost steam in the dying seconds. Mahmoud Quidlat scored 24 points for Breman Islamic Center and was adjudged as the SEIKO Watch best player of the game while Jaber Gonzales had 24 points for JDC Legends.
Thursday, Sand City beat Jeddah Clippers 103-76. Sand City caught Jeddah Clippers in their off night. Sonny Soreta scored big 29 points for Sand City and was adjudged as the New Cabalen Restaurant best player of the game while Gaspar led Jeddah Clippers with 28 points.
Knights of coach Rey Maddatu defeated SACC 98-74. Knights showed team work in the final quarter as SACC missed important jumpers. Garcia scored 45 points for the Knights and was adjudged as the SEIKO Watch best player of the game while Jose had 15 points for SACC.
Meanwhile, the 9th EBGH Basketball League 2016 opened last weekend. In attendance at the opening ceremony were David Leyva (commissioner), Lito dela Cruz (technical director) and Dr. Hatem Anan (nephew of Dr. Mohamed Erfan). Entered in the Inter-Company teams are: Al Jomaih Motors, Al Hamrani Universal, SAPMT Aramco, Jeddah Lancer, Starbone International and Brawlers. Making up the Hospital Inter-department teams are Cathlab, Al Khatib Homecare, Medical Store Pharmacy, Hotelier, Education, MYX Warriors and Bolts.
