JEDDAH: Arabnews.com has been ranked among the Top 3 newspaper sites in Saudi Arabia surpassing a number of Arabic publications in the Kingdom, according to Effective Measure.
Arabnews.com received more than a million unique browsers (UBs), ranking behind Alriyadh.com and Okaz.com.sa.
Arabnews.com, which is the online version of the widely popular Arab News newspaper, recorded 1,067,458 UBs, while Alriyadh.com and Okaz.com.sa gained 3,028,005 and 1,279,269 respectively.
These figures come after Arab News made dramatic changes to its website offering, and implemented strategic changes in how it covers local news on its digital platforms.
“This ranking shows how Arab News has continued to develop," said Arab News Editor in Chief Mohammed Fahad Al-Harthi. "This also demonstrates the trust that our readers have in us to deliver news that matter to them.”
When you include digital-only publications, the Effective Measure report shows Sabq.org topping the list followed by Alriyadh.com, Akhbaar24, Ajel.sa and RT.com in July.
Arab News enjoys a strong presence on a number of social media platforms. It leads on Facebook with over 4 million fans, making it the No. 1 English newspaper in the Middle East.
