JEDDAH: On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Makkah Gov. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal handed over the Kiswa (black cover) of the Holy Kaaba to the Sadin (senior keeper)) of the Kaaba.
The turnover was made in a ceremony at the governor’s office in Jeddah.
Prince Khalid, who is also adviser to the king, stressed that Saudi Arabia is honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims.
As it is the Kingdom's Islamic duty, it will continue to implement development projects in the two holy mosques in Makkah and Madinah, he said.
