Oman Air has launched a new complimentary bus service between Al Ain and airports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The service will enable customers to easily access the airline’s international network by selecting Al Ain as their origin or destination while booking their tickets.
Tickets can be purchased online or through the nearest Oman Air office.
The new bus service has been introduced to offer enhanced convenience for passengers from Al Ain, and ensure that they start and end their journeys in “style and comfort.”
Oman Air’s buses seat 33 passengers and are equipped with climate-control systems and reclining seats.
The services will run double-daily between Al Ain and Dubai, and between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, with a single journey time of approximately two hours. This double daily bus service to each Abu Dhabi & Dubai has a seating capacity of 33 passengers.
Mahfood Ali Saleem Al-Harthy, SVP, sales (GCC & MENA) at Oman Air commented: “We are delighted to have launched the new bus service connecting Al Ain with airports at Abu Dhabi and Dubai from Aug. 16. From there, customers can easily connect with flights to Muscat and onward destinations throughout Oman Air’s growing international network. The estimated travel time to each airport is approximately two hours; each bus route is nonstop and direct. So our passengers can arrive relaxed for their flights. WY offers seamless connectivity to our discerning passengers originating from Al Ain and connecting to WY vast network across the globe.”
This move by Oman Air is the latest step in its creative and ambitious program of fleet and network expansion.
The airline plans to operate 70 aircraft by 2020, offering a wide range of new destinations, increased frequencies on many established routes and improving connection times at Muscat International Airport.
