Al-Sudais opens mosque in UK

PRESTON, United Kingdom: Head of the Presidency for the Two Holy Mosques and imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais has opened the Mosque and School of Al-Salam (Peace) in the city of Preston, United Kingdom.

Sheikh Al-Sudais thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the crown prince and the deputy crown prince for their interest in all matters supporting the issues of Muslims all over the world.
He appreciated the efforts, keenness and interest of Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf, Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom in the mosque and the school, stressing the importance of the mosque in disseminating the message of Islam and its impact on enhancing security, peace and love being cherished by all nations and peoples.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ilyas Patel expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for his approval of their request for the participation of Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais in opening the mosque and the school, stressing that this approval demonstrates the Kingdom's keenness on taking care of the issues of Muslims and dispatching of imams of the Two Holy Mosques for participation in such events.
