LOS ANGELES: Hollywood A-list actor Demi Moore is set to make her Bollywood debut with stars like Frieda Pinto, Anupam Kher and Richa Chadda in an upcoming movie titled ‘Love Sonia’.
The film is going to revolve around issues of human trafficking — a problem the three leading ladies have been vocal about previously.
The film will be directed by Tabrez Noorani who has been involved in projects like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ and ‘Life of Pi’.
Moore will be playing a reformist who helps rescue victims of human trafficking. The director revealed that it was an easy task to get the Hollywood A-lister on board. “Demi has been involved in campaigns against human trafficking. She loved the script,” said Noorani.
Anumpan Kher and Marc Duplass are also roped in for the movie and it is slated to release in 2017.
