MoH offers 1,255 jobs under self-job program from today

RIYADH: The Ministry of Health (MoH) will offer a variety of job opportunities to qualified Saudi men and women from Sunday in various parts of the Kingdom under its self-employment program.

Announcing the recruitment of 1,255 personnel, an official from the Ministry of Health said here that suitable applicants can make their applications through the recruitment portal at the ministry’s website: www.moh.gov.sa during a period of five days from Saturday.
The program is meant to improve the services offered to patients, meeting their needs and supporting the health facilities with qualified cadres. Those selected will join the existing staff to serve in the health care sector of the ministry.
The official said that only Saudis need apply and others need not waste their time in making their applications even if they are qualified for the respective positions.
Available positions include resident doctors, pharmacists, specialists, nurses, X-ray technicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dentists, ambulance staff, laboratory technicians, anesthetists, and public health officials.
He said that the MoH will receive the employment applications from suitable candidates through the specified channels. He pointed out that the announced jobs are for men and women, unless otherwise specified in the announcement.
He said: “Application shall only and exclusively be done via the channels mentioned in the announcement. As such, personal requests, either directly to the MoH’s headquarters or to one of the regions’ health affairs directorates, shall not be accepted.”
At the online portal, applicants are advised that the first step includes looking for jobs via the search window in the specified channel, then picking up the jobs to apply for, submitting the required information, and finally uploading the CV and necessary documents.
According to Morjan bin Mubark Al-Murjan, director general of recruitment, the General Recruitment Department has set as a target materializing this vision: Providing all the required qualified human cadres through recruitment in order to deliver satisfactory health services to the citizens and residents. This is to take place by carrying out the recruitment processes for qualified cadres within the Kingdom through the domestic recruitment or outside through its overseas recruitment committees from all specialties.
By doing so, he said the MoH seeks to hire those who work efficiently and effectively and according to the best agreed standards.
The General Recruitment Department aims to continuously develop the recruitment system of the MoH through achieving the objectives the department’s strategic plan, approved by the minister of health, and drawing up a recruitment system working efficiently and effectively, to achieve the MoH’s vision and mission.
Furthermore, he said the General Recruitment Department adopts a scientific approach to planning, follow-up, and assessment, in line with specific indicators and scientific standards, with the aim of pinpointing any deviation from the plan and taking correctional and protective acts, thus leading to ongoing development in the recruitment system.
