JEDDAH: Minister of Justice Waleed Al-Samaani has approved the new organizational structure of the ministry following his earlier directions for its reconfiguration with the aim of increasing performance and improving the administrative work environment.
These changes are expected to contribute to the effective implementation of all ministry tasks as well as to facilitate smooth and fast decision-making and to strengthen all oversight practices.
The new organizational structure has come in accordance with the Vision 2030 and fulfills the requirements of the strategic objectives of the National Transformation Program, in line with King Salman Program for the Development of Human Resources.
The new organizational structure includes several changes on the highest administrative level, starting with agencies answerable to the justice minister, in addition to the development of a range of public agencies and departments and a number of specialized offices in several areas to control the integration and consistency of work. All such changes come to achieve the visions and directions of the ministry which aim to fulfill its slogan of "achieving justice with perfection and quality."
The new structure includes changes in several agencies such as the judicial affairs agency, which is affiliated with six public administrations including the public administration of courts, the public administration of cases, the department of certifications and proxies, the public administration of experts in addition to two newly established departments, these being the general department for judiciary summons and the general department of family issues.
The enforcement agency is affiliated with the general administration for control and auditing, the general administration for accounting, the general administration for asset management in addition to other departments for court affairs, enforcement and services.
The new organizational structure has also developed an agency for systems and international cooperation which is directly linked with the minister of justice and affiliated with other four departments. These are the department of economic crimes, the international cooperation department, the general department for systems and the general administration for human rights.
With regard to the planning, development and information agency, the ministry is seeking to implement the best modern management practices and institutional excellence.
