JEDDAH: Nights turn lively during the holy month of Ramadan across the Kingdom as commercial establishments and other public areas bustle with life.
Yanbu is one such place and the night market over there deserves a special mention.
Food stalls, a variety of events for children and goods made by productive families under one roof are some of the features of the Yanbu night market.
Ahmed Husain, a visitor, said the market represented by the starts after the Taraweeh prayers and remains open till 2 a.m.
“It is an excellent place for families.”
He said the especially designed and established food and drinks stalls that presented past and traditional flavors are very popular among visitors and residents.
Amal Abdulaziz, another visitor to the Yanbu market, said the market has seen a large number of shoppers since the beginning of Ramadan.
The market offers an opportunity to meet friends and relatives, she said.
“There interesting things and games for children such as theater and competitions. The bazaar for women offers many prizes every day.”
A variety of dishes and popular drinks are available in the Yanbu market, where Saudi youths also showcase products at stalls.
Amal praised the organizers for the arrangements, cleanliness and excellent Ramadan atmosphere and price control at the market.
