Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is creating quite a stir in tinsel ville with his killer-looks and acting talent. Well, if the latest report is true then he is about to add another feather to his cap by sharing screen space with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
The latest buzz on Salman Khan’s ‘Jugalbandi’ is that Big B has been roped in to play Fawad’s guru (teacher). Earlier, reports suggested that Fawad had replaced Saif Ali Khan, while Anil Kapoor was set to play the role of the guru. But now Saif and Anil are not doing the musical film.
If reports are to be believed Fawad has extended his stay in Mumbai a little while ago just to spend some time with good friend Karan Johar who might sign Fawad for his next. The actor recently had a long dinner with K Jo and Shakun Batra where they discussed movies at length.
Fawad is already riding high on the success of Dharma’s ‘Kapoor & Sons’, and will be seen next in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ helmed by Karan. Recently, the actor-director duo has hosted IIFA in Madrid, Spain. We must say great camaraderie.
Also, we heard that the makers of Dharmesh Darshan’s ‘Dhadkan’ are planning to remake the 2000 blockbuster drama and guess which actor are they considering to play Akshay Kumar’s part? It’s none another than Fawad Khan.
‘Dhadkan’ sequel is set to go on floors soon with a fresh script and cast and another installment is likely to feature Fawad Khan and Sooraj Pancholi but the hunt for female lead is still on. Now, every filmmaker is vying for this successful actor’s dates.
