JEDDAH/RIYADH/JUBAIL: Most students of Indian schools affiliated to the Delhi-based Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) passed this year’s class 10 exams in flying colors.
Principals of the schools across the Kingdom expressed pride over 100 percent pass percentage and hailed their students for scoring top grades in the exams, the results of which were announced on Saturday.
At the International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ), 813 students had appeared for the exams. A total of 27 girls out of 419 and 12 boys out of 394 scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10 full points.
Syed Masood Ahmed, principal of the school, expressed satisfaction at the results and congratulated the students.
At the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), 746 students appeared for the exam and all of them passed with good grades, said S.M. Shaukat Perwez, principal of the school. As many as 64 students obtained maximum grade point, that is 10 out of 10, he added.
The International Indian Public School in Riyadh (IISPR), too, secured 100 percent pass percentage. “Out of 91 students, 23 obtained A1 in all subjects with the maximum grade point 10 out of 10,” said K.M. Abdul Azeez, principal of the school.
This year’s result is outstanding as against last year, he said, congratulating the students, their parents and teachers.
At the International Indian School, Dammam (IISD), out of the 1,147 students who took the exams, 139 scored A1 grade in all five subject and 10 cumulative grade points (CGPA).
“Seventy of them scored 9.8 CGPA, while another 62 secured CGPA 9.6. Another 45 students secured 9.4 CGPA, while another 60 of them scored CGPA 9.2. 62 students scored CGPA 9, said E.K Mohammed Shafee, the principal of the school.
A total of 338 students appeared from the International Indian School Jubail and all of them cleared the exams, with 97 securing CGPA (10 our of 10), 94 getting CGPA 9 to 9.8 and 406 securing A2 grades in all subjects.It is for the first time that 97 students have secured CGPA 10 out of 10, said the school principal Syed Hameed.
The Dunes International School, Alkhobar, also gave 100 percent results. Yaseer Kaskar and Azam Hussain Khan brought laurels for family and school with 10 CGPA, scoring A1 in all subjects. Amjad Khan, director of the school, congratulated the students, parents and teachers.
Delhi Public School, Riyadh, scored a 100 percent results, with all the 59 students clearing the exams.
Mairaj Khan, principal of DPS, said that 10 out of 59 students obtained maximum grade points, that is 10 out of 10, while 15 students got 9 CGPA, 14 secured 8 CGPA and 20 students got the CGPA 6 to 8.
Mahd Al-Uloom International School achieved a 100 percent success rate for the fourth consecutive year for class X exams. According to the school authority, a total of 34 appeared for the exam, seven students have topped with A1 in all subjects with 10 CGPA and rest all the students secured above 80 percent.
“I strongly believe that our students’ success is a result of collaborative initiatives between faculty members and parents,” said Salma Shaik, principal of the girls’ section.
Yara International School, Riyadh, scored 100 percent success rate for the eighth consecutive year. “Out of the total 107 students, 22 secured maximum grade point 10 out of 10 and 39 got above 9 CGPA,” Aasima Saleem, the principal of the school, said.
Yasmin International School, Riyadh, achieved 100 percent result with four of the students scoring maximum grade point of 10 out of 10 and 21 students securing 9 and above CGPA.
