Western Auto introduces Ashok Leyland school buses

Western Auto Company Ltd., sole distributor of Ashok Leyland in Saudi Arabia, launched Ashok Leyland’s new range of world-class school buses that meets all safety requirements as per Saudi standards, at a ceremony held in presence of Kamal A.J., CEO of Western Auto Company Ltd., Sadakathullah SAS resident director, and the company’s top management.
Western Auto Company Ltd. has its presence in the Kingdom for more than 35 years and is the authorized sole distributor for Ashok Leyland buses and trucks across the Kingdom.
Arshad Yusuf Pathan, global head marketing and BD, welcomed the guests and media representatives.
“Ashok Leyland, claimed as the fourth largest bus and heavy vehicle manufacturer globally and market leader in staff transport category in the Kingdom is well known for its quality, comfort and safety. The company has 85 percent of the UAE school bus market,” said Viswa Kumar, GM sales.
Sadakkathullah S.A.S, resident director said: “We have won customers’ confidence by establishing sales and service networks in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail and Yanbu.
Having begun operations in the Kingdom in 2007, Ashok Leyland has made great improvisations in its vehicle quality, performance and looks in the recent years.”

Karthik Ganesan, regional manager, MENA and international sales, who represented the principal’s side, explained Ashok Leyland’s overall approach in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world.
Abduhhal Ali Al-Ghamdi and Fahd Al-Muatairi cut the ribbon and invited the guests to inspect the school bus.
